Following its international premiere in Hollywood, Mind of Thoughts marked its national premiere in Belgium with a series of screenings, including a special event at Cinema De Keizer - the oldest active cinema in the country.

The evening was met with a remarkable audience response. The screening unfolded in a deeply engaged atmosphere, culminating in a standing ovation and emotional reactions from viewers, many of whom described a strong personal connection to the film.

Exploring themes of self-image, inner conflict, and mental awareness through a visually poetic lens, Mind of Thoughts resonated across both personal and collective experiences, creating a shared moment between film and audience.

The premiere extended beyond the screening itself, with a making-of documentary offering insight into the creative process, followed by an open conversation with cast and crew. The presence of mental health organization Te Gek!? further anchored the evening in a broader social context, reinforcing the film’s intention to spark dialogue and reflection.

“What moved me most was the energy in the room - you could feel that the story resonated with people on a deeply personal level.” - Charlotte Verminck
