The Last Front is a feature film set in Flanders at the beginning of World War I (1914-18) and deals with the stories of Flemish families who must flee the war.

 

The film features an international cast. Iain Glen (Game of Thrones) plays the lead role of Flemish farmer Leonard Lambert. Sasha Luss plays the female lead. David Calder (The World is not Enough, Superman) takes on the role of Father Michael, a close friend of the main character. Joe Anderson (The Grey, The Crazies) plays the mentally disturbed German officer Laurentz. Koen De Bouw, a top Flemish actor, is also part of this international cast.
